HAND PAINTED METAL COATINGS:
The Metal Coatings consist of ground metal suspended in a non-toxic binder. They can be applied to most substrates and are very durable outside (10-15 years).
Most of the finishes shown are a mixture of coatings (gold, brass, silver, pewter, copper, iron). Surfaces can be customized prior to applying the coatings (example: tile on the right).

Below/right video: Urns designed by Studio Sofield for Steinway Tower at 111W 57th st in New York. A collaborative production - from a drawing we made a foam model followed by a mold and a casting. The gilded the surface required a specialized finish.
